There are plenty of other times when it's good to raise - stealing the blinds for example, if you think your opponents are weak tight players and will give up easily.

Another valid reason to raise sometimes with hands like mid connectors is for deception value. It’s very easy to peg a player who only raises with premium hands.

Raising depends principally by my position. If i'm in early position i limp-in also with AA, hoping someone will raise (and then i re-raise).
But in late position with not many players in the pot and withouth raises i may raise also with low pairs or AK AQ.

well i think raising gives you an idea of what happening on the table....i raise every hand i will play...and keep the betting til i know im beat....thats why i love hold.em...i have like a gift of the pokergods for reading my opponents thats why i play like that
