How old do you have to be to play online poker? 18 ?
In most casinos you have to be 21. Does it matter if you have a credit card ?

yep I think it's 18 online - so long as you have a valid credit card or deposit options

B&M is different - in UK you used to have to go through a whole 24hr before signup to be a member routine - they're getting rid of that now.

I'm sure there are kids playing younger in the play money or freerolls (not that it should be encouraged of course) but when it comes to getting your money out all sites have some sort of verification process so - make sure your doing it legal ;-)

You wouldn't want to get busted doing that in Reno, especially if you were trying to get by with a fake id. What's the rush or the fun if you have nothing to look forward to when you turn 21.

a fake ID, that would be really funny if someone managed to make it in when they were younger and atually got into a tourney. not only would they have beat the system, they would have proved quite a point.

Generally it's 18, but be careful. Some local laws to prohibit gambling in ANY form at ANY age. Just do a little bit of research to make sure, but chances are you're fine. And even if you aren't... It's the internet? I don't see anyone checking your computer any time soon. lol
