I it true for generated hands taht there are a big number of straights and flushes in the flop cards ?
hi
these seems like you are having the classic random generator dilema
are the cards fixed etc ?
My honest answer is that no-one can be 110% sure but I do still think it's unlikely its rigged
I like all players have had bad runs - and then attach this to certain sites more than others - but its perfectly possible to get a bad run at one site that you would have got at another - you just happen to be playing at xyz site when your luck runs out - thats the theory anyway
also as is probably covered everywhere - online you see maybe 3x as many hands per hour as in live game
plus online you have many many more showdowns / players calling big bets (which were sposed to make them fold) so you will see more bad beat situations - in a live game nobody wants to look a noob for playing 72 off to the end on the off chance of getting lucky
added to this online virtually ALL players play looser and over estimate their chances of hitting outs on draws -
multiply these factors together -
more hands per hour + more calling on a bluff + more betting on long shot draws x more players doing any of the above in hands
the result is a far higher probability of one of them sucking you out / getting lucky
remember AA is 80% favourite against one player with KK
against 4 players with ANY hand - AA becomes an underdog
as for seeing more of certain types of hands at certain sites - yes I think I see that sometimes too - but I think its more a trick of the mind than anything
To set randomness into perspective - I played a homegame where we had 4/5 made Full Houses on the flop and another 3 by the river in one night - pretty unlikely
even more so that they all came to one player - in addition several of the hands other players had very strong flushes / weaker Full House etc -
Everyone sees the bitter "xyz is rigged I can prove it" posts mostly by bitter noobs who have no real evidence bar a couple of hundred hand histories - of hands they should never have been in to the end etc
Techie wizards do watch these things and there really hasnt been much credible evidence to suggest one site is consistently more or less random than another
The sites DO however have a big variance of types of players - this give certain sites a different flavour - added to this if your not careful you "see" alot of things happen and start going on those flush / straight draws and remember when it comes off and forget when it doesnt
hope thats a help

indeed at all
i guess in high stakes tables this things happens less often ...
I think that in high stakes, it's not happen too often because in high stakes, people are more better players that in low stakes. so that means they don't chase or call all ins preflops with pockets or high cards.
But as said before, no one can be sure if there is any fixed draw of cards.
On the other hand i met a person one time that could see other players cards, and i believe that was because of low security on the poker site.
low stakes poker is the lack of risk vs reward syndrom
oh no I have to reload $4 vs oh shyt I have to reload $10,000
I could have left this thread alone with m1r4cl3 post, as it basically is 100% on par
ya, gonna delete what i had
