Hands to play in tournaments and how to play them
if your in a tournament and you just started, the hands you wanna play are the very good or good hands that is: AKs, AKos, AQs, AQos, AJs, AJos, A10s, A10os, A9s, A9os, A8 s and off A7 s and offsuit, A6 s and off, KQs, KQos, KJs, KJ os, K10s and off, Q10 s and off and pocket pairs higher than 9s you wanna play them conservative in a way, bet them 5 times the big blind if you want 6 or 7. if the hand doesnt hit on the flop play accordingly to see if 1 of the players in the hand are tight and have the hand made or if he doesnt have nothing or something. this is where good notetaking skills come into play.
shorthanded: this is where you wanna be aggressive with the hand selection this is where you wanna start playin hands in position like 10 9s, 10 8s, J9s, Q9s, K9s, any suited connectors or middle pairs as well as the hands that i have listed above.
heads up: pretty much alot of the hands 23s, 24s, J10os, J10s, J5s, J3s things in that nature if you have problems still with heads up im me on aim if you happen to have a sn.
