FreeROLL f@$$s !!!

Ok I know that freeroll is exactly that free and the chips do not really cost you but if one is to play I believe that they should play like they know what wins. 72 off is not good to go all in and when they win how do we stop this activity? I have been guilty of all in myself only to get my chips up early so i can out last the people who really dont know how to play. I am not real good but to become better it would help if I could play some people who do not go all in every hand. What is the best way? Birds 4king or other site to get private codes or should I just start paying money and play for cash. I really dont have much money but I would like to figure out how to play better just like the sloggan not bitter!

freeroll strategy has to be a bit different to proper buy-in games because the fields are generally bigger - and full on new players

unless you play lots of private freerolls by joining lots of forums - obviously posting most regularly at the best and hopefully your soon to be favourite forum - 4kingpoker ;-)

anyway - there are two basic outlooks at how to play freerolls - and you can combine the two (sort of)

Strategy one - sign up to as many sites as you can find (obviously through the links / banners in out reviews) just so you have the biggest range of freerolls for the times you are able to play

then sign-up to play in every freeroll you can find - the sites generally run several each day that arent special or private

then aim to double up or bust out quickly and within the early part of the freeroll - this way your not wasting alot of time hanging in for dear life online to get blinded away after playing one freeroll for 2 hours and making nothing

this is a strategy alot of players use - which is why the early stages can seem like an all-in donkey fest - it partly is but also its a way of either getting well up or well out

Once your through the early mad phase then you settle in and play decent poker as you then have a chance of finishing in the money

Strategy two - Play proper poker from the start - dont download loads of poker rooms to maximise your options but make one place your home

take advantage of the early all-in donkeys when you have only really really good hands - if you dont get anything good - stay low and out of trouble - then hopefully you will be able to keep going and make the money

Third Way - sign-up to loads of sites - schedule loads of freerolls - take advantage of the all-in donks and try to double up at every available GENUINE opportunity (with decent cards) knowing that they mostly have junk - if you bust out you know you have been playing good but looser poker and have other freerolls coming up in no time

hope thats a help - just dont play junk or try to be fancy and steal in freerolls they wont realise and will call anyway
