Any advices on tactic when playing TX holdem?

i have a friend who is only playing with a 2 and a 3. Never plays with very high cards. I think he is stupid.

simple answer to your friend - he is stupid

A2 and A3 should really be in the muck as quickly as 72 off

about the only flop that would help A2 is 345 which would help 67 obviously more - and its much more of a likely hand to have limped in late position if unraised preflop

A3 is only marginally better but not by much

if any ace comes down he is going to be the most likely underdog - yet is likely to be tempted

the only place for hands like this is in the muck - unless they are suited and its cheap cheap cheap to see cards

tell your mate he really needs to study the game before he goes very broke

in my opinion everyones tactic is fairly different basically following their style, and it may also always vary with who your facing...

Well i have to say i love playing A2 suited and sometimes if i have a lot of chips i play hands such as 23 suited or 34suited. But i think these kind of hands will give u more trouble than profit.

I'd just say play tight and vary your style depending on the table you are at. If your table is tight, play a bit looser and steal some blinds but quickly fold if they show strength. If your table is loose play only premium hands, and play them hard.
