Second time I read that tonight...that other poker games helps hold em. I understand the logic behind it...it could make you read opponents in different viewpoints. I will have to play more of the non hold em freerolls on Full Tilt

Was it you that told me that if I play Omaha it will improve my hold em game?

Also, should I start out doing play money and freerolls?

Why just the pot limit though? Most of the HORSE games are limit anyway aren't they?

Are you sure? I have played some HORSE events on Full Tilt and I don't recall it going to pot limit. Or maybe it does and that's why I am so bad at it, because I go broke when I get to Omaha lol.

But why should I only play Pot Limit? What's wrong with Limit for example to learn the basics of the game?

Pot Limit Omaha is the game to play. Go watch Gus Hansen or Phil Ivey burn through $100,000 USD in an hour.......its crazy...

i agree playing HORSE also helped my holdem game. I really like HORSE but i think it takes a long time to master that game, i mean there are so many things to watch for, its just the best game right now. I give Fredy Deeb much more credit after he won the event this year.
