I think with 20 or 30 $ its not that difficul, i started with 2$ and i made it 15$. But know im down to 5.30$

I mean with anything above 15$ u can try and build a bankroll for sure.

Money management is as much a part of the game as skill and luck. Even if you're a good player, but lose your money, what's the point? Scrawnybob may have an article about this, I'm not sure. Good luck at the tables!

i think money managament is a science, u really have to be concerned on what u can afford to loose. When i read the Fergusonīs article, the first thing i thought was he really shows a lot of patience because other pros mat think "im a pro and i can bust all these donkeys so im going to take all my money on one shot". But he just calm down and play as he was a normal player, when he is a main event winner.

Chris Ferguson says to not spend more than 5% of your bankroll on a single table tournament or for the max buy in of a ring game table. And do not use more than 2% of your bankroll for multi table tournments.

Here's a formula for it...

For single table tournaments and cash games: Buy in (use max buy in for cash games) * 20 must be equal to or less than your bankroll amount.

For multi table tournaments: Buy in * 50 must be equal to or less than your bankroll amount.

To find the biggest buy in you can use with your bankroll take your bankroll and divide it by 20 for cash games and single table tournaments. Take your bankroll and divide it by 50 for multi table tournaments.

I think on poker u really have to have a good bankroll management, because of how the game is, u cant expect to win every tournament u enter.

I heard Paul Wasicka puts most of his money on the first big tournament he was playing and he was lucky enough to cash on it.
