Pairs are the best. Always raise with those. Be carefull with low pairs though, fold them if you get reraised or you don't hit anything on the flop and someone makes a bet.

i would call it just because of the size of my stack...not caring what is in his hand...but how can ya ask a question and tell us what the other guy has when at that point of the hand u have no clue what he has?????
if it's just you left to call, then you call. on the other hand, if you KNOW they have ace king you lay down...but seeing as how you couldnt, calling would be the option for me, but only if it's just me and them.
it really depends on the blind level here IMO. I am assuming the blinds are pretty high and that the villian is pushing with an m of probably less than 5. If this is the case I think it is a pretty standard call. This is when you want to be making coin flips in a tourny. You have to win flips to win period and I would rather be flipping this way the flipping for my tourny life. I like the call regardless of results. Original poster I think you need to understand that it is the right call not just because you won the hand. In the long run it is the right call win or lose that time. At least that is just my 2 cents.
Would limp with 2s and hope its an unraised pot to play cheap. Knowing that my opponent had AK after raising, easy fold. Yoy hit the miracle duece on river for quads, but don't continue to count it. No need to risk 16% of your stack in a coin flip, especially when you have a sizable stack.
If I knew I was against AK i would definitely call because I would have the odds and the stack to do it. However, it is almost impossible to know that just from that pre-flop raise.
But I agree with youngwayne, it really depends on the blind level. If our Ms were low, he could be pushing all-in with almost anything, so I would just put him on two overcards and call. However, if the Ms were high, he could also have two overcards, but there would be now a greater change of him holding a better pocket pair so I would just fold and move on to the next hand.
