Thumbs up The End, Long live TBR management

Part: what ever it is? I forgot. ( its my age)

OK a net player with out a bank roll is a Train driver with out a Train; you can’t do your job!

Now I am not trying to diminish anyone’s bankroll or available money, or there ability to get a roll together, we all have to take a shit some times, and the fact is we all shit, no matter how much money we have, so I am trying to explain that every BANKROLL Large or Small can make money at on line poker, but it might not be in the game you think is the best, from what you may or may not be told.

Now we have to have a bankroll no matter how small it is, and like I said you want to be keeping it in nettella for ease of use.

Also like I said you want 3 individual poker accounts, so lets say for want of a figure we start at a bankroll of $400 or £200 nothing wrong with this, it splits very nicely into 4, so we can get on our way now ….

We look in the most important part of any poker game and that is the lobby pre game.

Now I don’t like under funding, and if we think we can make this into a thousand bucks playing cash, well good luck to you, because I can’t. I have tried, but I get sucked out on, so what I am saying is ignore cash and go for tourneys. Go for small tournaments that give you a good “EROI” EROI= Expected Return of Investment.

Now you may disagree with me, I have done all the maths, played all the game types, live and Net, so I can promise the best EROI as this:-

3 x 10 or 9 seat tables NLHD freezouts, non turbo. If YOU think any thing else go play cash because you think I am a liar or I am stupid, or a mixture of both, or you just don’t believe me and you know better than me, That’s Ok no problem here Ba’BBee good luck to You. I wish you all the very best.

But for them that want to believe, this is the place to build your bankroll, and you can by-in for the right money for ANY BANKROLL.

Now believers ( presuming non-believers have moved off the post ) If you play at fulltilt $1.25 sit&goes 90 players it pays to 18 ( I think I cant remember) £22.5+ for 1st, so you can play this on a very small TBR you only have to win 10 playing 16 and your roll is now $20 investment ROI $205.00~~20 into 205= 10.5x100=1050.00%

I wish the bank would give me that on my savings. The only downside is you have to win, you can adjust the figures for a cash and not a win at any time, and I took the more positive equation.

Now I am not plugging Fulltilt, and there are other great investments, I just picked this game because it’s the cheapest I can find for the right %/playing/%Profit./%time invested.

Winning the things is another thread

I rest my case M’Lord…

Playwell in the swamp, and some body now can post in here what you do after you win 10 games at a $1dolla…

GT.

Ps I can take a horse to water but I can not make it drink, and it Obvious that from some of the post in here people are NOT reading this Thread???

OK its No skin off my nose……….I can not belive I didn’t charge for this information…<whicked smile>

This is not as easy as it looks on the web.

GypsyTIP: LIVE CASH

When picking a game at a cash table, and you see a high roller bouncing money around, take some time watching at the rail, before you jump in!, L@@k at the punters Shoes! if they are expensive and Clean, including the soles:-

HE does'nt give a shit about the money, He can afford it, HE will NOT be Frightened to LOOK YOU UP! DONT BLUFF

If they are dirty and cheap ( his shoes) he is playing with SCARED MONEY! even if he his wearing a Savile Row Suit!!! BLUFF

GT
Very Good Thread.
Unfortunately I try this (post) this week (I read it last week) I bluffed this player and he call I lost (live play)
I do understand the higher point tho.

i thought i was getting better, but unfortunatly, i found that live poker scene is really soft in my country yes, that made some easy money for me, but it took me a while to shape up my net game which is on much lower level of blinds and tournaments then i play live...stoopid gamblers

anyway, i always stop here to reread some of GT's posts to have a clear look on my game, and i always find that i could play diferent, better...

question for gt

how should i know by the look on the other player shoes what to do, if the casinos where the tournaments take place have strict dressing rules which does not include dirty trainers?

well i guess i know what answer is coming, but just wanted to know your thoughts on that matter

all the best at the card table or the keyboard

Arrow ????

I am not sure what you are saying GT in regard to shoes
How every I think you are Talking about the quality of dress is proportinate to the quality of a players poker play. If this is the case, What you are saying is total nonsense!

At my local live card room some of the scruffyist players are some of the STRONGIST poker players.

I have to say as well what you are saying about bankroll is Wonderful and makes much more sense to me, How ever I am just a poor simple non millionaire, guess thats the difference You look at the shoes, I look at the bankroll.

GT have you got any advice how we can make a bankroll on very small money I can only invest £100? [ie I have no money but have loads of time]

Thank you in advance.

well if u want to make br on net, start with no deposit bonuses, just type it in your google or yahoo, and you'll find some great offers, which can and should be abused, like i did

you will find out that there is at least 1000$ in free money on net in different pokerrooms...

as the clothing matter... GT wants to say that u shouldn't try to bluff rich ppl, because they can afford to call your bluffs if they pleases or if they r gamblers...specially if they are on the draw...but that means also that u can trap them with good hand.

where I've literally bet the minimum into a good sized pot (representing holding the nuts and inviting a raise) only to have the other player fold in disgust - moaning about me rivering a flush (which is was a million miles aways from)
Your points on the raise are right on the money. That min bet on the river ... its funny as hell - they will throw out their entire stack if you ask ... but not a couple of nickles.

One thing I think you guys should do when talking about how to play hands is make sure its obvious if you are talking tourney or cash play.

I see people post here, and I see play after play online of people using cash play thinking when playing in a tourney.

ie pot odds - I want to smack someone everytime I see someone say something about pot odds in a no limit tourney.

A) There is no over the long haul in a tourney. You hit 0 ... you are done.
B) Pot Odds is really a limit game thing where you can see a hand through everytime. In no limit - you can be raised out so easily and then its just thrown away $$$$

.. oh on the shoes.

I actually love seeing someone wearing a really nice dress shirt, clean, new shoes, looking like a million bucks ... anyone dressed like that is not a poker player.
