To like this game I advice you to play very very tight at the start because of the small blinds until they become big. Then I'm sure you'll like it

Spoken... um written like a true newbie. The big bluff isn't available in limit. However, you certainly can bluff. It's just more difficult to do so effectively. And it's usually good to play in games where there are lots of showdowns since it's often easier to win in them.

I prefer NL myself, simply because it's a better fit for my personality. That doesn't mean limit is disgusting, merely that it's not my preference. There's a big difference.

I always hated limit until I started playing for decient amounts of money. You clear bonus's much easier playing tight limit poker.

There is also a much higher satifaction factor when you pull a sweet check raise bluff. You know they are going to bet, so you just check, then hit the auto raise button. They bet, then get the check raise jammed in there face. It never looks like a bluff in limit.

You are right Jayson limit holdem for the most part is played incorrectly online in freerols and low buy-in tourneys and ring games ppl become calling statios looking to suck out a big hand or dont realize how much money there putting in because they think Im playing limit I have to lose alot of hands to lose money but thus in an hour they have to re-buy

I like limit hold em tournaments sometimes to change it up a bit. It can be boring for about the first hour when the blinds are small, but if you have the patience to wait it out I almost like them more than no limit tournies late in the game.

If you really wnna be ahead of the pack in HORSE games Mafalda then you should practice the games people arent very familiar with like Stud Hi/Lo especially and also Razz as thats the two that can help your stack the most against novices IMHO and alot of other folks's too
