Default interesting AA vs KK for ya

A hand from poker history.

Sammy Farha -vs- Barry Greenstein
The very last hand of the night on High Stakes Poker, these two powerhouse players picked up the two best starting hands possible. All the other players were packing up and heading for the door, but stopped to check out the oncoming brutality this hand was sure to bring.

Farha put in a standard, non-commital raise, which Greenstein then bumped up by $50,000. Such a raise indicates the rockets right away, but Farha couldn't get away and moved all in. Greenstein insta-called.

Farha proposed running the entire five-card board out twice, but Greenstein declined. The flop was a disaster - a King hit, turning Greenstein's overwhelming odds against him. Farha again offered to run the turn and river twice, but Greenstein again declined. No help came, and Sammy Farha raked in hundreds of thousands of dollars on the final hand of the night. Greenstein was silent, although it would have been a bit more fun to see a reaction of Hellmuthian proportions!

P.S: this is copy and paste from an e-mail i got from carbon poker

i saw this on youtube too, farha made an bad call preflop. i think farha put greenstein on AK instead of AA. what are the chances that someone has AA vs. KK ?
it rarely happens.

Aces vs. Kings is a really, really sad thing to watch. For the loser, of course.

But I don't know about you guys, but... I'm considerably happier when I see that my cards are pocket Kings... Than I would be if they were pocket Aces. The Kings make me feel kinda better.

I kinda prefer not to get either hand too often. I'd rather play small pots and win small rather go for the knock out with these 2 hands.

Just got lbusted in a ring game off this senerio. Guy on button and super stack jams pot size raise or around $3 with aces, and I pushed all-in with kings for 8.50. Four players all-in and he nails us all with aces full and picks up huge pot. Maybe I should call Farha for one of those cigs.
