What a poker player needs
I think if you want to become a good poker player you'll need these things beside the skill and cunning , agression , patience and so on ..
Have the book :
Super system 1 and 2
And i suggest 2 other good poker books.
Seen the movie:
Rounders
Stu ungar highroller movie
Have the video of:
Pro poker tells
And atleast watch some serious poker at pokertube or any other site ...
Thats my opinion .

book
What helped me the most is roy rounders free news letter. It has basic by the book tips.I started winning tourneys right after i got some of these tips.I played for 6months and could only make it about halfway or a little better thru a tourney, after getting some tips,I started winning almost immediately.I rarely give out my secrets,so ya needa listen!I saw my flaws and corrected them, and boom...!..I like Cake poker the best,in fact placed 1st place in a freeroll there today!...by the way,the bestttt thing..its free!

I wouldn't recommend Doyle Brunson's Super System to somebody that's relatively new to poker. Phil Gordon's Little Green Book and Ed Miller's Getting Started In Hold'Em are a lot easier to digest, and arguably also more relevant to online play. Good luck!
"Good players very rarely call. Good players raise or fold. Good players who call a bet after the flop are very, very often slowplaying a monster hand.” Phil Gordon’s Little Green Book

A good poker player needs:
1.Ability to know right from wrong.
2.A mentor
3.The ability to read information and apply it to any game style.
4.Class and Grace under pressure-A respectable poker image.
5.The ability to teach others instead of taunting their failuresPoet By Chance-Poker Player By Choice
