Never limp with a monster hand preflop. Get in as many raises so you can drive marginal hands out. Don't be afraid to jam 3 or 4 times preflop or be aggressive post flop.

There are situations in which limping with a monster hand could be the best way to play.
Example: if you have a decent stack and in your table have 2 o 3 players fighting to reach the money could be a good move just limp waiting for a desesperate allin.

A lot of people say to raise with Q-7 up because it favors a random hand, but just go with a gut feeling on how ur opponent plays.

Default limit strategy

People will think im crazy but i think you should play tighter in limit than in non limit. There are a lot more suckouts, so sometimes you have to fold them aces, even if the board looks like you have the winning hand.

I approach limit hold em in the same sense as omaha hi in a way. Don't fall in love with too many hands if you feel you are beat. Would not try any plays to steal many pots because with the odds, you'll get called down too often. In pot limit hold em, take the same approach as no limit in my opinion.
