Your problem here is implied odds i think.

At this point you want to grow your stack not loose it.

There are only 2 players in pot. The other player is more than likely to look you up whatever you do and whilst you might be ahead preflop, will a pair of 6's hold up on a flop never mind at the end.

You would prefer to see a couple of limpers at least ahead of you and a call from the SB for when you do hit your set you are going to get one tasty pot.

As it is you fold to a raise or check and see the flop, unless you hit that set you're gone.

You need a fat pot in this situation to give you the implied odds to play and then go on and hit your set.

What you think?
Good Post Nucks

Your play style depends of your POSITION . if you are in early or middle position you may call , but if you're in late position you may try a blind steal (and nobody call before you).
I usually call and hope to catch the set

If you're the BB I think all-in was the best solution

Default i have a suggestion

ive been playing on bodog and pokerstars a lot lately.. one thing that helps me do better when playing is using the "notes" function. just observe a few hands and type down for the people what they are calling the flop with... its a good way to see what people will do with certain cards and it comes in handy because i find myself playing against some of the same people a lot... say some one calls all the way through with 4 7 offsuit, then three hands later that person is in the hand and 447 comes up on the flop you would be able to get a feel for that person and think hey maybe that certain person hit something because two hands before this he called 47 offsuit before the flop, dont get me wrong a lot of people are unpredictable but i do a lot better with the notes

I'd have to push my stack w/ 66 there, I would think if he/she had a pair, they would have raised. meaning: a push would make him/her fold, or call, which you might be ahead.
