I love Aces in button because people think you are just using position preflop. sb is also great when is only you and the bb and they think you are stealing

    I get this beauty yesterday.

When i all in em, i get tripped up
Now i've taken to folding em...and washing up during the flop...

Yeah, P O likes to slow play them. Just min raise, and watch big blind hit 2 pair on flop.

I don't necessaritly slow play them, though I try to get action, but I only want 1 player, the more players you're up against, the less your advantage.

The only way I slow play Aces is AFTER I've hit and the board doesn't look like it can hurt me. I would never limp pre with them under any circumstances unless I'm 99.9% sure the guys in the blinds will raise me.

If that small pp limper hits his set on the flop, you are dead anyway and you never want 5 players in the hand.

Well it's that "99.9% sure" that has had it's time with me. So, you won't see me limping and even giving the blinds a chance to see a flop cheap. I will for certain 2.5x-3x raise. In late position that will irritate the blinds enough to play back at my perceived steal attempt. And, when they play back I have a nice sized 3-bet for them.
    Really?

I never limp preflop with aces , you definetly dont want multi hands seeing the flop. The only time i would limp would be from the BB and 1 or 2 thight players limped in ,But still really risky i would still say raise and take a small pot than losing ..

I agree 100%...you want ACTION, but limited to no more than 2 players is best, Wally

If you want to play scared all the time and RAISE everyone out of the Pot when you have AA,s and collect Ante,s ?? How often do you get AA ? I don,t want your ante,s I want your whole stack. Watch me limp my AA,s. I will limp in early position and hope you have Ace-x or a pocket pair like JJ,s and raise me and the pot.And I will come over the top and Pot commit you with a Big raise. Most will fold and i take down more than the Blinds if i had of bet HUGE.Sure I have been burnt doing this but more than not I have pulled in a huge disguised pot.I should qualify it depends on position. How aggressive the other players are playing. If its late in a Tourney with expensive blinds its worth betting them high as many players are Pushing as well.
But i,m willing to gamble limping and take your stack ,, depending. Its awlways good to change up the bets anyway.

LOL... all of my preflop raise sizes were the same... 2x (sometimes 2.2), especially when blinds are/were HUGE and calling is a big percentage of one's stack (in most cases) and more often in late levels it's more of a 3bet/fold/call type of game. Raising the same with entire opening range adds deception... if you see some players raising smaller preflop with some hands & larger with others... make a note immediately.

Rg this is great..... if you're on a table where this actually still works. Unless you're also doing the same thing with other parts of your range (balancing your range), it's a HUGE tell (who falls for the Limp rrai from EP anymore?). BUT, if you're also doing this with hands like AK, JJ, TT... I suppose it's alright... idk.. I stopped doing the Limp rrai when I quit playing the Railbird freerolls.
