You don't haave a problem!
You don't need help. You just play by yourself and u will get you're own strategy by playing. You have to just play and learn yourself how to play. That's the best way to learn if you ask me.

Be sure to read all the articles Scrawnybob has posted on this site. They are very helpful. There are RED tabs at the top of this page to take you to some good information. Good luck at the tables!

Head to the tournament strategy link as Jeffs Babe says....
How many books have you read?
Really if your looking for the advanced stuff, text is where you will find it.
How long have you been playing online?
Where do you play at?

Perseverance, Passion, and Patience.
Time is only a function of probability.

My team only played for 2 seasons, and we actually won.
Check your ego at the door, and mind your own business.

The Bible of poker is Super System by Doyle Bruson. I like Harrington on holdem too. It is very insightful. 3 volumes of poker all wonderful and easy to follow.

Really kinda depends on what exactly you're referring to as the more advanced books are mostly very specific (ie. 6-max, NLHE tournament play, Sng play, etc.).
First off I should probably mention a bit about my poker book experience as often I've read comments with great intentions but maybe coming from some who have actually only read that particular book &/or maybe a few others. In '08 alone I read upwards of 2 dozen poker books, all the best ones that I could find (from posting and asking questions just like this one here).
For NLHE tournament play I'd say for sure the best to read is the Harrington on Holdem Series (he also has a new CashGame series, which is great too but a bit tighter than how most are playing in 100NL+ online these days).
For something more advanced (but would definitely suggest/recommend HOH first) the best book I've read for NLHE tournament play would be "Winning Poker Tournaments - One Hand At A Time" put out by Mathew Hilger but with co-authors PearlJammed, Rizen & Apestyles (3 of the top online pros who regularly play in the Fulltilt & Pokerstars tourneys). This book has numerous handhistory discussions, taking the reader through the thought processes for each (over 200hands discussed, with the last 50 or so being ones that Hilger felt he could've played differently and are commented on by each of the 3 online pros, none being aware of what the other has written.... great stuff!!).
The book is geared towards buyins of $200+ but some handhistories are taken from the Fifty-Fifty on Fulltilt where the authors recommend taking the thinking down a few levels and keeping it more basic (and for any of the $215(6) buyins also that can be satellited into). It's not really for the player wishing to play the micro buyins online as alot of the finer subtlties will be lost on your opponents (they just aren't thinking on those kind of levels). Still, no matter what buyin level you play at, I believe this book could only greatly enhance your game and get you thinking differently & on a higher level (ie. what is he thinking that I'm thinking about what he's thinking about my hand...get the picture... it goes well beyond there).
This is a book that can be read many, many times over. An awesome read for sure!!
I've just recently heard that Arnold Snyder's books are excellent for NLHE tournament play as well. He has two volumes out now (one from 2006, the other 2008). They come highly recommended by many.
I've heard that Daniel Negreanu's newest book (Power Holdem Strategy) has an excellent section in it that he wrote, while going into detail & depth about his 'small ball' approach for tourney play. This style unfortunately isn't really suited to alot of the blind structures and starting stacks in online tournaments, unless perhaps one is playing deepstack poker past the rebuy period of a rebuy tourney or in a deepstack tourney (or doublestack once you get past the early levels). I've heard the rest of the books is mediochre at best. I actually having it sitting on my shelf right now and have only just started to dig into it so am unable to base my opinion from personal experience, just from what I've read from some online pros who have reviewed the book.
I've read all of Daniel's books and do like his writing style and some of the ideas he works at getting across to his readers (alot about defensive play while playing aggressive style poker... if that makes any sense... it does &/or will once you read it).
I've read all of Phil's books (cuz they were there) and can't say much for any of them to be honest. Some of his stuff in regards to how one would play against some of the particular styles is okay (to which he addresses each with a particular 'animal name'.. ie. Loose Calling Stations = elephant, etc. etc.).
Doyle's books I've read as well. They seemed to be held in high esteem by many but to be honest, as far as tourney play goes I really didn't get anything out of them. Mostly relates to cash game play as far as the NLHE section goes (Doyle's section) & when I first read them it actually kinda screwed up my own playing style. Poorly written as well in my opinion. I'd still read them... but wouldn't put them up or near the top 10 list (many claim them to be in top 3 of all time... I believe that this is mostly due to them being the forerunner of the new age of NLHE... aggression, aggression, aggression).
For CASH GAME play, I'd recommend:
Professional No-Limit Holdem: Volume 1 Matt Flynn, Sunny Mehta, Ed Miller 2007
Harrington on Cash Game - Vols. 1 & 2
For SitnGo play, I'd recommend"
Sit and Go Strategy by Collin Moshman 'Expert Advice For Beating One-Table Tournaments'
(there's also tons of great stuff online for sng play, for more advanced stuff I'd tend towards learning about ICM stuff and how it relates to the sng,... very important!
For Psychology of Poker there are a number of good books also:
The psychology of Poker by Alan Schoonmaker
Poker Mindset
The Tao of Poker
Zen and the Art of Poker
Other worthy books of interest:
Championship Hold'em by Tom McEvoy & T.J. Cloutier (cash games & tourney play)
Championship NoLimit & Pot Limit Hold'em (McEvoy & Cloutier)
Phil Gordon's Little Green Book
Phil Gordon's Little Blue Book
(Gordon's books are well-written and take you into
the mind of a poker pro,... he covers many good aspects/subjects/principles of the game and then also takes you through a series of actual hand histories to illustrate each of the points)..... well worth reading.
So... kind of an in-depth answer here.... but for 'advanced tourney play' I'd suggest 'Winning Poker Tournaments - One Hand At A Time'... but would recommend reading the Harrington series first if you haven't already.
