    Default Give up online poker?

I am so sick of the bad beats on online poker... why does it always seem like I take a beating with the best hand going in?

I think we all get bad beats.. I am sick of it also, but nothing we can do about it, it is poker, and if you want to play poker doesn't matter onlie or in casinos, get ready for some ugly bad beats lol...I personally don't think that I can give up playing poker, I think I will play all my life lol....

Because the best hand going in isn't necessarily a big favorite to win - especially in a multi-way pot. Try to remember your suck-outs too - because I'm sure you've won plenty of times pushing with the worst hand (I have)!

a new strategy i now use is to think of the times i beat someone with a worse hand. often times we forget these so i keep a physical note of the bad beats i give to other players

    Default live poker is rigged

I play online, and have seen a lot of bad beats, suckouts and talk about it.

Just last Saturday I played my first ever live tournament, put on by a local veterans hall. 45 entrants, pay $50 to get in. at mid stage tourney, I have pocket KK and push my mid size stack of 13,000 chips all in. the only caller is the chip leader of the tourney with 40,000 or so chips. he has J 8 clubs. the board was 4d Kd 6c. turn 10c. river 2c

I gotta say, that damn live poker is rigged. rigged I tell ya!

Ya, eventually the one's that can't hang and take on poker in hopes of cashing in big money lotto die out and go away. Those that practice bankroll management and take the time to learn chat and study the game do the best. I also think that sometimes it is better to go play another game for awhile. Either that be video games or checkers sometimes when you ocome back with a fresh outlook on the envionment, you can play better than ever.

    hi
there is many there say, that there is more bad beat online than live poker thats also right but one of the reasons is that you play so many more hands online than you do live. the secound reson is that many players are more loose online than live it's easy to call a big bet when you never have the money in your hands when you play live there are many factors there play in. you can se your opponent in his eyes and make a lot of good read there, so you can se if he have hit something lucky hand against your pocket aces or something like that. the last factor about bad beat no matter if you have a 99% chance to win the pot there stil are a 1% chance you loose so actualy you shut loose a hand like that every 100 time. it's crazy but it's poker and Mathematics, but it also that there make poker so fun you are never sure to win a hand just because you get pocket aces, if it always was the person there get deal the best hand there won I don't think there will be so many there would play poker
