Online I definitely prefer tournaments. I think it is a lot easier for players to collude in cash games online.

Depends if the poker gods are with me or not...lol. My preference is tournaments because you can only use a "fixed" amount. Ring game, sometimes can get me upset (clean version of the word) and I keep hitting the re-buy button and "poof" there goes that money. If, like me, you at sometime in the past and at a time you can't recall, made an agreement with your wife that you would not deposit funds on to any poker site, I'm happy to only play the small buy-in tournaments or sit-in-go's. In her defense, the way my luck runs, it's probably a good time I not allowed to make deposits.

    Default Cash Vs tournament

I agree with other posters. I prefer tournament play over cash games. I like knowing the total cost of play and if you finish in top the return on investment is very good. Of course that only applies if you finish in the top. MTT can take a lot of time but I seem to enjoy them more than the cash games. I like the idea that if you knock someone out they are gone. Even with rebuys they can only rebuy for a restricted period of time. Single table tournaments are my favorite. They don't take as long and the return is decent. I also seem to fare better in tournaments than cash games which might have some bearing on my preferences.
    Good luck at the tables

I used to be a better cash game player, but recently I woke up one day and I was a tournament player. I am not sure what happened, but my style seems to have switched up and I am more suited for a tourney than the ring games.

    Default Definitely Tourneys or Sit'n'Gos

Have only been playing about 2 months, but wondering what I used to do before I found online poker.
I hardly ever play cash tables, as I feel you can loose your money too fast.

cash game you got to play more hands because u want to let ur opponent not know the strength of ur hand... i prefer mtt cuz ur not so heavily into it in terms of cash. lot better way to save money
