We have a mini league at Virgin Poker where the top player will win a WSOP Final satellite ticket. 2nd to 5th win a 27 euro WSOP satellite ticket ... A great shot at the big game.

we had 4 players for the first game - bear in mind these game will run with less than 10 players - so if you play your pretty much guaranteed to come out with something

hi all

ok well after a very small turnout I'm sure all the members who took part have done nicely out of playing in the mini league ... big thanks to Virgin Poker for putting these tournaments on for us

And I hope we can get a better turnout for the forthcoming satellite tournament we will be having for the Virgin Festival

Anyway back to the points and results ... having computed the results from all 3 games between the 4 competitors + myself (not counted) I've ended up using 4 different scoring methods to ensure that the overall winner is a clear winner under any scoring method we could use (hopefully)

The other players will each win a 25 euro WSOP satellite ticket

congrats to all of you - I'm sure with all the money added as well its been a good mini league

for those of you who want to check the points see below

key to scoring columns (left to right) ...

1) 1st gets number of players in each game as points and then decending
2) 1st gets number of players (minus me) in each game as points then decending
3) 1st gets 10 points and then down to a theoretical 1pt for 10th
4) 1st place 3 points, 2nd 2 points & 3rd 1 point
