Well I would say the site is slightly above average, it has pretty decent graphics, and if you need a break from poker, the have added the elimination blackjack option. As well freerolls are constantly running throughout the day making it easy for starters to learn the game.
Most of persons that I know doens't like the UB, because of the graphics. But I do like play there, I think they have good tournaments. Now, I don't play a lot there so sometimes they give me $10 to come back. Usually, I just loose this cash!

I used to play UB a lot but drifted away (they never gave me money to come back ). When I was bored the other night I entered a freeroll and went and won it 1st out of 5000 it took 5 hours and 18 minutes. Now I'm building my winnings up at sng's. Can't think why i drifted away.
Haven't played at UB for a very long time and don't expect I will be anytime soon. When I saw the top post in the thread mention blackjack.. I immediately went to check deposit options and sure enough UB no longer has ePassporte. Surprisingly they also do not have eWalletExpress.
First thing I look at deposit and withdraw options. Don't see any methods I can use for deposit and I'm interested in withdraw options... I really prefer epp and ewallet as last resort
1. They are owned by the same guy as absolute poker.
2.They sacked or Phil Helmuth Jr. left, depending on who you belive.
3 Following complaints from players, UltimateBet has confirmed that it has found evidence of ‘abnormal’ playing activity at its online poker site. UltimateBet and its licensing authority, the Kahnawake Gaming Commission (KGC), were alerted on January 12th to allegations that a player with the online handle “NioNio” exhibited abnormally high winning statistics, resulting in accusations that the player had an unfair advantage during play. The allegations also included reports of suspicious activity concerning the deletion of the NioNio account and other accounts that may have been related to the cheating. UltimateBet says it immediately called in an independent third-party expert to review “hundreds of thousands of hand histories, all of which were promptly locked down and made available to the expert”. The company went on to say: “The initial findings of our third-party expert confirm that the NioNio account’s winning statistics were indeed abnormal, and we have expanded the investigation to look into whether an unfair advantage existed, how such a scheme might have been perpetrated, and whether additional accounts beyond those of NioNio were involved. “The investigation has proven to be extremely complex and, therefore, has been more extensive and taken much longer than initially expected. We continue to aggressively pursue the matter and will communicate the findings of our full investigation to our regulatory authority and to our customer base as soon as practicable.” UltimateBet is owned by Tokwiro Enterprises enrg. and headed by the former Grand Chief of the Mohawk Territory of Kahnawake, Jo Norton. The company also owns AbsolutePoker. Earlier this year the KGC fined AbsolutePoker $500,000 following an investigation into similar cheating allegations. In that case, the perpetrator(s) were found to have used a ‘backdoor’ in the poker software which enabled them to view other players ‘hole cards’. The fact that Tokwiro Enterprises is again at the centre of cheating allegations will come as a significant blow to the company as well as the Kahnawake Gaming Commission, who’s investigation of AbsolutePoker was labelled a whitewash due to its lack of detail and limited financial penalty. If these latest allegations are substantiated, the KGC will have little option but to impose a significant enough penalty to deter such activity in the future and to maintain its authority as a credible licensing jurisdiction.
4.And finally to-day DevilFish poker ( use to use UB skin) has signed a deal for Entraction to provide there poker clinent
“Peter Åström, CEO of Entraction said: “We are proud to announce that Devilfish Poker joins our poker network. Devilfish is a well known brand and the site already has a large number of active players. This contract was concluded following an initial referral by Betdaq."
So What do I think, is this the “Rats” leaving the ship or just another dodgy north American poker site soon not to be with us. I don’t care either way I will PASS thank You
yes I've been meaning to mention the Absolute potripper thing has it seemed surfaced at UB in some way or other as well
I down graded our reviews (to the bottom) of our list (which also has our incomplete but valid sites at the bottom for the moment)
their are issues with the way the sites run things for affiliates - If I cant get answers from a site in a half decent time (if ever) then I dont feel confident that I can act on our players / signups behalf to help sort out any issues they may have ... IMHO thats an important thing for me and I do know most of the sites reps personally or at least met them a couple of times
I will be putting notices etc on the reviews when I get a chance (that was on the TTD list a while back but I just stuck them out of the way for a while)
this seems to be an issue that affects players which they havent addressed
the Absolute issues were a golden opportunity for them to tighten up all their staff access issues - but it would seem that they have surfaced at their other site they own UB too
