Default Blackjack

Those damn BlackJack tables......Thats what I don't like about Ultimate BET, though I do love everything else including the massive amounts of freeroll chances. I chased a free bonus through a poker stake site and actually was doing well. Had like 1/4 the points I needed and only down a little but, but then I hit ten times in a row on Blackjack and I was hooked until it was all gone...IM GONNA STICK TO POKER FROM NOW ON!

Default Good BlackJack advice

hi

That seems like pretty good advice of your own to follow - way too many top poker pro's have been known to win a big poker game or tournament and then blow it all on the BJ tables

simple really - BlackJack is a casino game with an inherent house advantage, sure you can minimise it but you cant change the rules of BlackJack and they favour the dealer / house

It's not up to me to tell people how to spend their money - some high rollers are loaded and just love the buzz of casino games but IMHO casino games should be played for what they are - enjoyment / buzz / gamble and only play with what you can afford to loose for entertainment purposes

Poker is a player v player game so you will win against worse players and loose against better players (over time at least) - there is no house, so there is no house advantage

The house takes a rake (to cover them running the business) but beyond that have no interest in who wins other peoples money (its not theirs)

casino games you play against the house / casino - so the games are specifically designed (within the rules) to give the house an edge and therefore their profit

hope thats a help

cheers scrawnybob

I play Black Jack all the time. I lose sometimes but I win more. I set a win or lose limit before I start playing and stick to it and if I reach my won goal I leave for the day.

Thats awesome man. I don't know that a lot of poeple can function well that way. and It's true ultimate discipline is key to poker or any other card/betting/gambling game. Some of us have it, lose it, get it back, and so on, but truly being consistent and treating it like you would a video game or an event like a sport tournament that you are willing to pay this much money to play and if you win that day you win and if you lose that day you lose, that's it. I think sometimes its even harder to walk away when you win than when you lose. Most times I have lost It has been the result of overconfidence or overbetting, because I have been winning so much.
GL at BJ its got to be the best feeling when you bet min bet min bet min and finally read the cards and hit BJ on a big bet

i think black jack is rigged on every online poker room its like they always win the most of the tim always hit 17 or above and rarely bust its like if you dont have 18 or higher you might as well hit because more than likely the have you beat although i can say ubs is better than most other sites

I have known a lot of players who lost their bankroll on the Blackjack tables. I like a good BJ, but I am not playing Blackjack online....period.
