Allen Cunningham the Las Vegas based poker pro won the Pot Limit event taking away close to half a million dollars. Cunningham narrowly missed winning the 2006 main event last year coming runner up to Jamie Gold. This bracelet takes his total to 5 putting him up with the likes of Phil Ivey and legendary Stu Ungar.
And is one of only a few players to win a bracelet in 3 consecutive years. With a total of 30 cashes in the series to date he is the 3rd highest all time money winners at the world series. Another hardened pro and character on the cirecuit Humberto Brenes finished a respectable 3rd, himself a past bracelet winner.
