Cake Poker Network is a medium sized network with over 60 sites in the network.
Open to US players it is a popular network for this reason and due to softer games than some of the bigger US facing sites. Cake has a great bonus and points program.

Cake Poker Network Overview … The Cake network has managed to establish itself as a solid mid sized network with decent enough traffic and now over 60 sites adding players to the network. This is a great achievement over the last few years and they have gained some notable sites like DoylesRoom and new sites like Victory Poker. However as much as they’re successes they recently lost a group of sites (PlayersOnly & Sportsbook) to ther rival Merge Gaming Network which has hit Cake’s overall player traffic figures. And in Jan ’11 Doylesroom announced their departure to the little known Yatahay Network. In March 2011 Victory Poker announced they were joining the Cereus Network.
The software is ok and has some nice features, all the sites have fairly generous VIP / points programs however with the loss of playersonly and sportsbook it has meant that the games have tightened up and there is more of a “grinder” culture on the remaining sites which means less juicy games on the whole.
