Due to the DOJ seizures, Full Tilt is currently closed owing all it’s players balances
Recent announcements by the DOJ & Tapie Group suggest Full Tilt will re-launch in March / April 2012.
It is expected non US players will get their account balances (funded from the Tapie investment) & the DOJ will payout some (hopefully all) of US players funds.

Full Tilt Poker Review … With pro poker backers such as Phil Ivey, Howard “the professor” Lederer, Chris “Jesus” Ferguson, Erik Seidel & John Juanda it’s no suprise FullTilt has built a loyal following since launching in 2004. Fulltilt has a very strong line-up of professional poker players including Phil Ivey, Gus Hansen & Patrik Antonius plus many others who are active on the tables and you can play some of them online even at the lower stakes tables.
It is a good site if your sick of playing tables full of maniacs or if you want to feel your genuinely improving your poker strategy as above the micro stakes most of players aren’t the crazy idiots that you find at easy to win poker sites like 888Poker or Bodog.
The percentage to the flop rate is a lot lower here than most other sites so games are tighter and players like to think they are better players and so ABC poker might not cut it. Full Tilt is becoming more nitty and less fishy as many previous newbies and recreational players are now getting better and spending time reading poker strategy and even joining poker training sites and getting coaching.
The graphics and playability are good – I’m not a big fan of the avatars but this isn’t a problem as you can change the look of the tables from brash and flash down to simple and clean. If like me your not a big fan of the cartoon avatars you can take them off too.
If your a big tournament player or keen to improve your game against more challenging players, then FullTilt is definately the poker room for you, however there are better places to make an easy profit. They have also developed a full download version for Mac players, this is not a no-download java but a full Mac version.
Updates: Full Tilt Poker has closed to US players effective from 15th April 2011, The Tapie Group are currently putting together a deal to buy Full Tilt Poker expected to be finalised around February 2012.

Easy to Win: (5/10) It’s not too bad at the micro limits. However things can get tougher moving up the stakes pretty quickly, compared to equivalent stakes on other sites, Fulltilt (and PokerStars) the players are generally better and the games are harder to beat . As online poker popularity grew FullTilt got alot more juicy games like all the sites, however it now has some of the tighter games online. FT Players tend more to be more mixed now, lots of serious tight nitty players, some with fancy play syndrome but with aspirations of joining the FullTilt Pro’s as well as the easier to beat money maniacs, recreational players and newbies.
Player Traffic: (23,500 peak daily players) Good volume in both cash and tournaments. The bulk of players are in lower limits and in the tournaments. However Full Tilt does boast some of the biggest nose bleed stakes and much of the mid / high stakes games online so if this is the action your looking for then it’s to be found here.
Player Transfers: Player to player transfers can be made and the minimum transfer amount has now been reduced to $1. (Players must have filled out their full address info for this function to work).
Software & Graphics: Unique with several easy custom options to change the look of the tables. You will either love or hate the default cartoon avatars. But f ilike me you dont like them its very easy to change to other options which have a very simple clean design or somewhere inbetween. The graphics are very good however you prefer your poker table to look. Playability is pretty good too, you can choose your own avatar and there is good stats info at your finger tips.
